Required Knowledge & Experience: - Sales/Account Management Requirements (60%)
- 2+ years sales experience
- Extensive cold calling and lead generation experience
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer relationship and interpersonal skills
- Experience with software demonstrations (online and in person) and software training.
- Project Management experience with the end-to-end sales cycle, including implementation and training.
- Strong time management skills

- Marketing (20%)
- Experience drafting and developing marketing communication material including proposals, e-news, site content, brochures, etc…
- Strategic thinker – particularly around the marketing strategies and the Internet.
- Familiar and interested in keeping informed on the latest technology trends and making functional recommendations
- Analysis / Technical (20%)
- A solid understanding of the Internet and the Web development process
- Strategic approach to problem solving
- Ongoing market research and analysis to identify trends and shifts in the marketplace
- Familiar with the system development life cycle
- Mastery of standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Applications)
- Fluency with open source web-based software platforms and the ability to apply them to meet the needs of clients is beneficial.
Responsibilities: The primary purpose of this position is to generate revenue by developing market potential though sales forecasting, lead generation, qualification and closing sales. The role will include prospecting (lead generation) and product demonstrations (both in person and Web demonstrations). This position will support all aspects of the business development process from initial contact, proposal development, contract negotiation and follow-up. You will work with customers to determine the best solution to meet their needs and develop an effective solution. There is also a significant customer relationship and account management component throughout the development, implementation and training phase. Establishing customer relationships that are long-term with a focus on repeat business is crucial. Above all else, you must have a passion for helping clients achieve their desires business results and outcomes.
